About Friskis Brussels

Friskis&Svettis is a sports and fitness organisation with its roots in Sweden that has operated in Brussels for over 30 years. In addition to Brussels, Friskis is present in over 100 locations in Sweden, over 40 locations in Norway, plus in Luxembourg, Paris, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Aberdeen and more. 

Friskis in Brussels is a sports organisation entirely run by volunteers. You heard it right! The organisation, instructors included, volunteer their time, energy and skills. 

People enjoy volunteering for Friskis&Svettis not only because it is fun, but also because they get a lot out of it: a sense of satisfaction, participation in social events, the chance to make friends with people from all sorts of countries and backgrounds, and last but not least, a discounted membership. In an age where time is money, this is something that many people value – it’s no surprise that the organisation has over 12,000 active volunteers across Europe!

Friskis&Svettis Brussels is recognized by the VGC (Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie) as being an organization of public interest.
