A heart rate monitor helps you find the right intensity on this workout without pushing too hard during warm-up but really feel confident when turning it up when effort increases a long the session. It’s a great way to get to know how different heart rate zones feel in your body.

Before session starts, you’ll borrow a heart rate monitor and strap it around your chest. On a screen in the indoor bike studio, you enter the number on your monitor and your personal max heart rate. Not sure what that is? No problem—the system can estimate it based on your age. If you're new, feel free to ask the instructor for help.

In Spin distance pulse, the music sets the pace and creates a landscape of tough climbs, fast sections, and long, steady stretches. The instructor guides you through, but you’re in control of the intensity. With the resistance dial, you decide whether to take it easy or go all in.

The vibe is focused and energising, often with dimmed lighting. A perfect way to get sweaty and feel great—your way.
