New to Indoor walking

Intro Session with Extra Guidance

Never tried Indoor Walking before? Or maybe you’ve tested it but haven’t quite discovered what makes it so enjoyable? Then this is the perfect session for you. New to IW is a class where the instructor takes extra time to guide you through everything—from adjusting the settings on the walker (cross-trainer) to mastering the workout technique.

The session starts with a comfortable warm-up. After that, you’ll get the chance to explore different intensities and raise your heart rate at a relaxed, stress-free pace. The instructor will guide you throughout the session, and there’s plenty of time to adjust the workout to a level that suits you.

The idea is to take New to IW once or a couple of times before moving on to the regular Indoor Walking classes. These intro sessions are offered a few times each term—keep an eye on the schedule if you’re curious to give it a try.

First time? To train with IW, it’s best if you’re at least 150 cm tall due to the size of the walker and the distance between pedals and poles. Welcome!
