With spring comes Trail running

Join us for a running experience that's anything but ordinary. Friskis presents Trail Running – a workout where the speed and feel are naturally dictated by the terrain, featuring hills and unexplored paths.

Exercising in nature offers a different experience compared to the regular jog on asphalt, surrounded by buildings and vehicles. This was the thinking behind Friskis' expansion of its running program with the launch of Trail Running.

– This is both a training session and a nature experience combined. Trail running provides a chance to connect with your senses for an even more powerful running experience," says Andreas Dahlqvist, training developer and running coach at Friskis.

Leave your running watch at home

The tempo and the sense of effort adjust naturally based on the ground, which includes elevations and untouched trails.

– It might be a local nature spot, or even a run along the beach – every terrain offers something unique. By focusing on the environment instead of your pace per kilometer, you reduce stress and create a pleasant sense of presence in the moment, says Andreas Dahlqvist.
