Meet the 2026 Friskis Aberdeen Committee

Following our AGM in April, we're delighted to confirm the committee who will be leading Friskis Aberdeen through 2026.

Every single one of them is a familiar face — members and volunteers who have given their time to this community before and have chosen to do so again. We couldn't be more grateful.

Elspeth Graham and Suzanne Turnbull — Co-Chairs

Elspeth and Suzanne will share the Chair role between them.  Between them they bring energy, dedication, and a genuine love of what Friskis Aberdeen stands for.

Christine Richardson — Deputy Chair and Class Leader

Christine brings a unique perspective to the committee — not only as Deputy Chair but as one of our class leaders. She knows first-hand what it means to stand at the front of a class and inspire people to move, and that experience shapes everything she brings to the committee table.

Mary Hill and Jan Hosie — Viking Hiking Representatives

If you've ever turned up at Hazlehead Park on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning, the chances are you've been welcomed by Mary or Jan. As our Viking Hiking Representatives they are the heartbeat of one of our most loved activities — out in all weathers, poles in hand, making sure every new face feels at home from the moment they arrive at the Bruce Cairns.

Susan Rothnie — Committee Member

Susan brings warmth and dedication to the committee as a valued member, contributing her time and energy to help keep Friskis Aberdeen running smoothly behind the scenes.
