Rules for the gym
- Your membership is personal.
- Every member makes an individual digital check-in by the door.
- To train on your own you got to turn 13 this year. When you are 10 you can train with an adult.
- For security reasons it´s not allowed to enter the gym without membership during night time.
- No outdoor shoes in the gym!
- Don’t drop the weights on the floor.
- Clean the machines after using them.
- Please return the equipment when you’re done.
- It’s not okay to train without a shirt.
- Fragrance free area.
- Please show consideration for others.
Rules for the digital entrance
- When the reception is closed and our premises are unmanned, you will gain acess to the gym through a digital entrance.
- This policy applies when training in our premises during umannned hours:
- You may not, under any circumstances, let anyone else in through the main entrance or any other entances.
- Every member has to make an individual digital entry through the front door, even if you come together with others.
- You have to show consideration to other exercisers.
- You should take good care of Friskis´ equipment and premises. In the event of damage you will be liable to pay compensation.
- All thefts will be reported to the police.
- You have to clean used equipment and put it back in its right place.
- Our age limit is 16 years, when training alone. The younger ones may train with an adult above the age of 18 and both must have a valid training card.
- Check ups will be carried out regularly and you must be able to show an ID card.
If you violate our above policy your card will be suspended for one month, and you will not be allowed to train during unmanned periods for one year.
For your safety, and that of others, the facility has camera surveillance during unmanned periods. You can find our ”Policy for camera surveillance” on our website.

Membership
The membership is personal and cannot be lent or transferred to another person.
As a member of Friskis&Svettis Sundsvall, you have access to a number of membership benefits. See current benefits here:
The membership fee is paid annually per calendar year. The membership fee is paid separately in addition to the training card/pass.
The paid membership fee is non-refundable, except when exercising the right of withdrawal according to section 3.1.
If you are under 16 years old, your guardian must approve of you becoming a member of the Association.

The Association processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensures compliance with applicable legislation on the protection of your personal data.
You are responsible for ensuring the Association has your updated contact information in case the Association wishes to contact you.

A member can be excluded or suspended from training in accordance with these membership terms, statutes, and rules of conduct. This can happen, for example, due to inappropriate behaviour, unauthorised use of the training card, doping, theft, threats, threats of violence, or visible influence of alcohol/drugs.
Exclusion means your membership and training card cease to be valid for an indefinite period, as unilaterally decided by the Association18.
Suspension means you are prohibited from training at the Association for a specified period of time, as unilaterally decided by the Association.
Suspension and exclusion always occur without compensation or refund.
Training and Training Card.
Your training card is only valid at the Association. The training card is
personal and may not be lent to another person.
The training card can be transferred to another person for an administrative fee. The person who takes over the training card cannot take over the membership and therefore needs to pay their own membership fee to the Association.
A lost training card will be replaced for an administrative fee. You are responsible for immediately reporting the loss of your training card to the Association so that the Association can prevent unauthorized use.
If you are under 16 years old, your guardian must approve of you purchasing a training card.

You always train subject to availability (space).
The Association's booking rules, information on age limits, and other information you, as a member, are responsible for reviewing, are available on the Association's website.
Information about the Association's training offerings, schedule, and other information about training and the Association is also found there.
The Association's opening hours and schedule may change from time to time due to, for example, summer holidays and public holidays.
The Association has the right to make changes to premises and training equipment, as well as close parts or the entire facility for renovation or maintenance. Furthermore, the Association may choose to update its training offerings.
Any reduced or cancelled training for you due to such changes will not be compensated by the Association.
The Association is not responsible for obstacles or limitations to your training opportunities caused by circumstances beyond the Association's control, such as fire, interruptions in the public power supply, governmental decisions, epidemics, pandemics, or other major outbreaks posing a danger to human health, or similar circumstances.
The training card can be frozen for certain reasons specified by the Association. These reasons are available on the Association's website.
If you pay for your training card via installment, direct debit, or similar, and payments are interrupted before the contract period expires, your training card will be blocked until payment is completed. You are always obligated to pay for the period for which you purchased the training card.
You are solely responsible for your health being such that you can safely participate in the Association's activities.
The Association is not responsible for losses or damages to your or other members' and visitors' belongings. Storing personal belongings, such as clothes and valuables, in the Association's premises is at your own risk.
The Association has a zero-tolerance policy against doping, alcohol, and drugs. Doping controls occur at all the Association's training facilities. The Association applies the Swedish Sports Confederation's association rules and doping policy and collaborates with the Police according to the law on the prohibition of doping agents. Right of Withdrawal (cooling-off period).
If you sign up for your membership and pay your membership fee and training card via the Association's website, you have the option to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the purchase.
The cooling-off period begins the day after you completed your purchase.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, the Association will promptly refund the payment received from you, with a deduction for the value of the training you participated in during the cooling-off period. The Association will use the same method of payment for the refund that you used for the payment.
To use your right of withdrawal, you must notify the Association clearly and explicitly before the cooling-off period expires. You can find more information here (link to website with contact details).
Other Terms and Conditions
The Association has the right to make changes to these membership terms. You will be informed about any change at least 30 days before the change takes effect on our website and/or via email.
