This is F&S London

Friskis&Svettis London is a non-profit sports association. Our goal is to get as many people as possible to exercise and experience the joy of movement, as well as increase awareness of the importance of exercise for well-being and health.

All our activities are based on personal initiative, and much of our operations are developed through the engagement of our members and volunteers. Be part of it and make a difference yourself!

Annual Meeting - Make your voice heard.

F&S London's Annual Meeting is the ultimate decision-making forum. The choices made by the members here shape the association's activities. As a member, you have the power to vote and the right to put forward motions (proposals) about the association's future. The Annual Meeting determines the composition of the board and its mandate. It's also where you, as a member, vote on all incoming proposals.

How to write a motion

  • In the heading, summarize the topic of your motion. Important! If your motion covers several different subjects, please write a separate motion for each subject.
  • Describe the current situation and the problem/need.
  • Describe your proposed solution and your arguments for the proposal.
  • Please include a cost proposal if possible.
  • Conclude the motion with your name, the names and personal registration numbers of any co-proposers, and the date of submission.

This is our board.

The board of directors is responsible for managing the association's activities in accordance with the plans and objectives established at the Annual General Meeting. They also ensure that the association always acts in the best interests of its members. As a member, you are encouraged to reach out to the board with any questions or comments.

This is the election committee

The task of the nomination committee is to propose candidates for the upcoming year's board. The nomination committee is elected by the members at the Annual Meeting.

As a member, you have the right to nominate yourself as a candidate for the board, independent of the nomination committee's proposals. This requires that the person wishing to stand for election is present at the Annual Meeting and can introduce themselves.

Feel free to suggest someone you believe would be suitable for the board, the nomination committee, or an auditor position in the association.
