Friskis&Svettis Aberdeen is part of the Grampian Wellbeing Festival
This May, Friskis Aberdeen is taking part in the Grampian Wellbeing Festival — and we're bringing two of our favourite ways to move with us. Best of all? Every session is completely free.
Whether you're a long-time member or you've been curious about us for a while, this is the perfect opportunity to come and give it a go with no commitment, no cost, and absolutely no pressure.
Get outside with Viking Hiking
On Friday 15th and Saturday 16th May, we're heading to Hazlehead Park for two Viking Hiking sessions. This is Nordic walking with a social heart — it's great for your body, brilliant for your mind, and you don't need to bring a thing. All equipment is provided.
Just turn up at 9.45am and we'll get you set up and ready to go. Sessions run 10–11am. We meet at the Bruce Cairns, near the café.
Sweat it out with Jympa
From Monday 25th to Wednesday 27th May, we're bringing Jympa to two community venues — Inchgarth Community Centre (Monday and Wednesday 6pm) and Cairncry Community Centre (Tuesday 6.15pm).
Jympa is our signature group fitness class: energetic, fun, and set to music that makes you forget you're working out. All you need is a bottle of water, an exercise mat, and a pair of trainers.
Why come along?
The Grampian Wellbeing Festival is all about making it easier for everyone in the region to access activities that support their mental and physical health. That sits right at the heart of what Friskis Aberdeen has always been about — movement that feels good, in a community that welcomes everyone.
New to Friskis? Come and meet us. We'd love to see you there.
